Failed Celebrity Comebacks of 2013

Failed Celebrity Comebacks of 2013

Some of Hollywood's formerly brightest stars failed to make a comeback in 2013, and we're counting them down. Britney Spears didn't do it again. Nope. In fact, she wasn't even close. The pop princess's album "Britney Jean" entered the billboard 200 at No. 4, with first-week sales of 107,000. That's the lowest entry position and first-week sales ever for Brit. And the "Perfume" singer will begin a Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood on December 27 — a move generally reserved for artists whose hit-making years have run out.

But Ms. Spears wasn't the only star who failed to make a comeback in 2013. After taking some time apart to work on personal projects, the Jonas Brothers announced that they would be reuniting and hitting the road. However, they canceled their tour two days before it was set to kick off in October due to a "deep rift within the band," according to a rep. Their spokesperson added, "There was a big disagreement over their music direction."
