If there's any star these days who's difficult to steal the spotlight from — it's the tongue-wagging, twerking, eyebrow-morphing Miley Cyrus. However at the 2013 American Music Awards, it was another celeb's turn to grab back center stage; making such a stunning entrance  that Cyrus herself admitted defeat.

That would be Lady Gaga, of course, who pre-Miley was accostumed to owning these events. Tonight, the singer arrived on scene poised on a Trojan horse (powered by two hidden humans inside), dressed in a Grecian gown...and right smack in the middle of Cyrus's red-carpet interview.

Justin Bieber was spotted at two fashion shows this year, including the Opening Ceremony Spring 2014 show, which was also attended by Miguel, Rihanna and "Parks and Recreation" fashionista Rashida Jones. Later on, Bieber was also spotted in all black everything at the Y-3 show.

Now that Lady Gaga's toned down her style, it only seems natural that someone else would come in and take her place, right? Right, and where else but Italy to make a debut. Among the forever-glamorous Sandra Bullocks and handsome George Clooneys of the Venice Film Festival is Marina Ripa di Meana, an author who apparently knows why the caged bird sings. She attended the festival's opening night channeling Sophia Loren on the bottom, and, well, not Sophia Loren on top.

To be fair, it's not the most ridiculous red carpet look we've seen. Whether she knows it or not, her birdcage completes the trifecta of Bjork's swan dress and Gaga's Grammy egg. We could go on and crack a few more puns, but Go Fug Yourself was the early bird who caught the worm. (Go Fug Yourself)
