Taylor Swift At TIFF, Kate Middleton At Tusk Gala & More Best Dressed

Taylor Swift At TIFF, Kate Middleton At Tusk Gala & More Best Dressed

From Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to the Toronto International Film Festival, so many of our favorite starlets have never looked better — but there can only be one who will win the title of best dressed! It’s up to you to VOTE for who you think rocked their BEST look this week.

It has truly been a week of crazy fashion as the biggest names in Hollywood have sashayed down red carpet after red carpet for fashion week events, premieres, film festivals…and the list just goes ON! It’s going to be a tough decision, but we want YOU to decide who deserves  our best dressed of the week title. Will it be Taylor Swift in her skin-tight white dress? Do you think Mila Kunis is the title winner in that plunging, white Burberry number? Make sure to check out ALL the looks and vote for your favorite!

Taylor Swift’s Toronto International Film Festival Dress:

Taylor Swift has been pushing her sex-appeal lately in her outfit choices. The 23-year-old looked sexy in a sleek, white Calvin Klein dress. The singer walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival in a cutout frock that definitely turned heads. Taylor amped up her look with this little number, showing off her gorgeous figure and killer style. The popstar kept her makeup simple and her hair slicked back in a sleek ponytail. The minimal jewelry and her simple strappy sandals really made our focus stay on the frock. The high neckline, cutout sides, and bare back instantly puts Taylor up for best dressed of the week! We give you a gold star on this look, girl — you’ve never looked better!

Jessica Alba Waxes Poetic On Crop Tops, Raves, & Jay Z

Jessica Alba Waxes Poetic On Crop Tops, Raves, & Jay Z

This past week, while the rest of us were sweating our way around Lincoln Center, Jessica Alba was staying calm, cool, and collected. The style icon and businesswoman has been showing off the enviable outfits she's known for, and asserting her place in the front row of the hottest shows. But, that's her M.O. — no matter the occasion, she always manages to look amazing (and, more importantly, like she feels amazing). Nowadays, she's got her plate more than full, what with running her own business, The Honest Company, keeping up an enviable movie career, and playing mom to two adorable daughters — all while staying one step ahead in the style department.

We caught up with the star towards the end of her jam-packed Fashion Week, while she took on yet another project as Guest Editor over at Piperlime. She stopped by the pop-up store to pick out her favorite looks, and to chat with a few lucky editors (that's us!) about her musings on life and fashion. Read on to find out what trends Alba fell victim to in the past, what she's into now, and what you can do to live more of the honest life.

Street Style: New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 Part Two

Street Style: New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 Part Two

Street style on the last day of New York Fashion Week is pretty graphic. Shooting outside Jeremy Scott, photographer Phil Oh captured legendary stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele sporting a mind-bending optical illusion tracksuit, and model Ruby Jean Wilson toting a fresh-from-backstage bag emblazoned with a rainbow TV No Signal color block. And aside from plaids and Goyard bags, there was Natalie Joos's sweeping caped dress, resembling blue china with gold leaf. As we move on to London, these popping prints will keep New York emblazoned in our minds (or at least, on our Pinterest boards).

On The Catwalk With 'Plastic Surgery Models' At New York Fashion Week

On The Catwalk With 'Plastic Surgery Models' At New York Fashion Week

"Fashion week is about fashion ... it's not for people to decide on what face-lift to get."

So snapped New York Fashion Week founder Fern Mallis to the Daily News on Tuesday. In a few hours, the curtains would open on the first ever Faces of Fashion runway. The show's "designer" was Dr. Ramtin Kassir, a tri-state area plastic surgeon.

The proposition was surreal: The doctor's patients were to model his work -- puffed lips and pinned-back ears -- down a catwalk.

This was not an official NYFW show, though its press release suggested otherwise. It was closer to an ad on the subway. As the models -- hand-picked by Kassir's publicist -- strutted the length of a gallery space abutting Central Park, "before" and "after" pictures flashed on two background screens, along with a rundown of the surgeries the men and women had endured.

Audience members, made up of fellow patients, friends-of-models, and the odd plus one who came to see if this was really happening, whistled and whooped. One middle-aged man in sunglasses and a suit -- "Rhinoplasty," the screen behind him announced -- stooped to high-five an onlooker.

26 Major Things That Happened at Fashion Week(end)

26 Major Things That Happened at Fashion Week(end)

If FASHION WEEK were a logo, we’d have it printed on our brand-new spring 2014 Alexander Wang miniskirt because, hey, this weekend wasn’t so bad! The sun was shining, everyone was wearing Nikes, and this e-cigarette addiction is working out just fine, thanks. Saturday was all about heavy-hitters: Alex, Prabal, and Joseph (okay, we mean Altuzarra; that first name thing doesn’t always work) while Sunday started with Victoria Beckham and ended with Opening Ceremony. We’d try to find some way to seamlessly connect those two houses, but let’s be honest, it’s just too hard. (How about this: Things that shouldn’t be good but actually really are.)

Speaking of! Below you’ll find the 26 things you’ll probably want to know from Saturday and Sunday, whether you were along for the ride or gazing from afar or, you know, just enjoying your weekend without trying to crane your neck to get a look at Kanye West, Justin Bieber, David Beckham, or all those gorgeous clothes and accessories from the runway. We’ll see you out and about, and don’t start wearing grass-green until next spring, okay? (Eva Chen, you’re exempt.)

Jessica Alba Makes an Edgy Jacket Totally Work for the Office

Jessica Alba Makes an Edgy Jacket Totally Work for the Office

Ah, it's Fashion Week! And even though we're looking at collections for spring next year, there are looks, like cute, printed moto and bomber jackets, that you can get a jump on right now--especially during this perfectly crisp, but not outright cold September weather. But how do you make the somewhat edgier piece work for the office? Let Jessica Alba show you the way.

Jessica hybrid blazer-bomber jacket has cool contrast striping, but she kept the color palette basic with black and white. Minimizing the jewelry and pairing the eye-catching layer with a classic black right-at-the-knee pencil skirt and pumps keep the look professional and work appropriate. Of course, this is Fashion Week and front row of the Diane von Furstenberg show, so the Glamour Style Icon had a little fun with accessories--mixing prints with her minaudiere, but sticking to her neutrals.

It's New York Fashion Week, and that means that the biggest celebs are hitting up the Big Apple to take a bite out of the runways' freshest fashions. As designers pull out all the stops to show off their Spring/Summer lines, stars sit front row. At after-parties, they mix and mingle with supermodels and pricey duds. Want to know where some of your favorite celebrities have been spotted? MTV News has rounded up some of the biggest names at the event.

Let's Hear It For The Boys

Justin Bieber was spotted at two fashion shows this year, including the Opening Ceremony Spring 2014 show, which was also attended by Miguel, Rihanna and "Parks and Recreation" fashionista Rashida Jones. Later on, Bieber was also spotted in all black everything at the Y-3 show.

The Business Of Fashion Week

The Business Of Fashion Week

A DECADE ago, London Fashion Week was just a tearaway little sister to three more established elders: seen-it-all, done-it-all, post-coital-cigarette-smoking Paris; corporate focused, financially fly New York; and straight-A student (albeit smouldering) Milan. In those days, London's most successful designers inevitably eventually graduated to one of these international outposts, but today its reputation for producing talent affords us a fairer share of the global limelight.

Natalie Massenet was named chairman of the British Fashion Council a year ago, and we're now beginning to see signs of the effect she and the weight of her £350m company is having: significantly inflated sponsorship; 75 12-ft flags hanging the length of Oxford Street; Manolo Blahnik and Smythson on the schedule for the first time; a new designer shop in Somerset House during Fashion Week; constant chatter on the social mediawaves - plenty of new developments will be credited to Massenet's leadership. She insists, however, that the developing success of the event is down to the expertise of BFC chief executive Caroline Rush. Massenet's self-determined brief is in her efforts to bring British fashion close to the consumer. "In New York everybody knows when Fashion Week is on - it feels like Fashion Week - I want it to be the same here," she says.
